my house near Portland is officially up for sale. When it goes i am bound for Port Charlotte. Looking for a new boat will be job number two.

Engine room condensation
With boat season around the corner we took the Formula out of mothballs, launched at the local dock raised the engine compartment door to check the oil and what the heck water everywhere and i mean alot of water rusted up all my chrome it was bad. So here a lesson learned for me turns out that 2000 dollar boat cover really does cover everthing including engine compartment VENTS this was a caustly event. I say to you all check to make sure vents are clear condensation is our enemy

Information on lower Myakka navigation required
Can anyone tell me if the Myakka is navigable from the Gulf Port Charlotte end up as far as River Road communities and / or Snook Haven. If so what depth is the channel? I am trying to find a chart on line that would show this but so far have failed to find one.Thanks for any help.MichaelSee More
